Alexandria is an avid yoga/travel addict

Alessia

Yoga Sculpt Teacher & Operations Manager

Alessia is a Psychologist and Certified Yoga Teacher who has brought both of her practices to Italy, Spain, the United States and Switzerland. Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Alessia left her home country to get a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology in sunny Barcelona in 2006. Keeping on moving West, she landed in New York City where she lived for five years and then became a San Diegan in the summer of 2014. Alessia discovered the benefits of Yoga and Meditation in 2009 and has been an avid practitioner ever since.
As a Psychologist and Behavioral Therapist she found in yoga the best way to complement her devotion to people’s mental and physical well-being, hence her classes combine the physical and spiritual approach to the asanas typical of Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga with a sparkle of Western- meets-Eastern Psychology and Mindful Meditation.
Alessia’s classes are playful and lighthearted and she encourages the students to explore asanas through creative sequencing and Prana (breath) work, while being deeply connected to the present moment.
In 2016 Alessia left the beaches of Southern California for the Swiss lake shores of Lugano where she can be found hiking the surrounding mountains and teaching yoga to the ever blossoming Swiss yoga community.
